RESOLUTION 19-011
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMKNT OF PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE
MEMBERS OF THE DES MOINES AREA METROPOLITAN PLANNING
ORGANIZATION (MPO)AND PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS FOR THE
DES MOINES AREA MPO TRANSPORTATION AND TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
FOR 2019
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee must annually appoint or reappoint representatives to the Des
Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)and the MPO Transportation Technical
Committee (MPO TTC);AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2019,Mayor William F.Peard appoints City Administrator
Tim Moerman as primary representative and himself (Mayor Peard)as alternate representative to
the MPO;AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2019,Mayor William F.Peard appoints Development
Services Director Brad Deets as primary representative and Public Works Director/City Engineer
Rudy Koester as alternate representative to the MPO TTC.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7'"day of January,2019,that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to the Metropolitan
Planning Organization and to the Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Technical
Committee.
