RESOLUTION 19-010
APPROVING THK MAYOR'S APPOINTMKNT OF A REPRESENTATIVE AND
ALTERNATE TO THE WALNUT CREEK WATERSHED MANAGEMENT
AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR 2019
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF IYA UKEE,IO8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,on February 18,2014,the Waukee City Council approved entering into a
28E agreement related to the Walnut Creek Watershed Management Authority
(Resolution ¹14-049);AND,
WHEREAS,according to the provisions of the 28E agreement,the City may appoint a
representative and an alternate to the Walnut Creek Watershed Management Authority
Board of Directors;
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard appoints Assistant Public Works Director of
Engineering Kevin Vrchoticky as the representative and Public Works Director(City
Engineer Rudy Koester as the alternate to the Walnut Creek Watershed Management
Authority Board of Directors for 2019.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 7"day of January,2019,that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to
the Walnut Creek Watershed Management Authority Board of Directors for 2019.
