RESOLUTION 19-018
APPROVING CITY OF WAUKEK PEDESTRIAN ACCESS ROUTE
TRANSITION PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on February 20,2018,the Waukee City Council approved an Agreement for
Professional Consulting Services with HR Green,Inc.for the creation of a pedestrian route
transition plan (the "Plan")as part of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of
1990 (ADA)(Resolution ¹18-077);AND,
WHEREAS,the Plan will be used to identify the priority in which sidewalk ramps are updated
to current ADA specifications;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee solicited public comments on the Plan in December 2018 for a
period of 30 days.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
City of Waukee Pedestrian Access Route Transition Plan is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 7'"day of January,
2019.
