RESOLUTION 194i56
APPROVING TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT FOR IOWA EMS
NON-TRANSPORT SERVICE PROGRAMS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Iowa law requires a non-transportation service program to maintain a
transportation agreement related to ambulance service to provide a planned mechanism for
routine patient transportation;AND,
WHEREAS,the Suburban Emergency Response Team (SERT),Tactical Emergency Medical
Support,proposes a Transportation Agreement with the Emergency Medical Services
Division of the City of Waukee to satisfy this legal requirement;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney has reviewed the agreement and finds it satisfactory.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
Transportation Agreement for Iowa EMS Non-Transport Service Programs is hereby
approved,and the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement for and on behalf of the
City.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the '"day of
February,2019.
