RESOLUTION 19-069
APPROVING THE PROPOSED FY2020 BUDGET
1N THE NAMEAND BY THEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF 8'AU1 EE,108'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State of Iowa AND,
WHEREAS,the State of Iowa has set March 15th as the date cities must submit a
certified budget to their respective county auditors AND,
WHEREAS,all City departments have worked hard to create the FY2020 budget in
accordance with the City Council goals and priorities,and to maintain the tax levy at
$13.40/per $1,000 for the Waukee citizens AND,
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held March 4,2019,during the regularly scheduled
council meeting to seek and to receive citizen input concerning the proposed FY2020
budget AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the proposed FY2020 budget and after
receiving citizen input on the same finds the FY2020 budget fiscally responsible and
responsive to the needs of the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 4th day of March,2019,that it hereby approves the sed FY2020
Budget.
