RESOLUTION 19-074
APPROVING IOWA ASSOCIATION OF MUNICIPAL UTILITIES OPERATOR
QUALIFICATION PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8'A UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a member of the Iowa Association of Municipal
Utilities (IAMU);AND,
WHEREAS,the Operator Qualification Plan is a mandatory program that covers all
tasks related to the ownership and operation of a natural gas system;AND,
WHEREAS,the Operator Qualification Plan has been updated to reflect changes by the
Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA),the regulatory
agency that oversees the operation of natural gas systems;
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 4 day of March,2019,that it hereby approves the Iowa Association of
Municipal Utilities Operator Qualification Plan.
