RESOLUTION 19-050
APPROVING CHAPTER ZSE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF
WAUKEE,IOWA;XENIA RURAL WATER DISTRICT;AND THE BOARD OF THE
WATER WORKS TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF DES MOINES,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee (the "City")desires to execute an Agreement pursuant to
Chapter 28E,Iowa Code,to cause and to undertake certain enhancements to the water systems in
order to provide service from facilities currently owned by Xenia Rural Water District.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE,IOWA:
That the City approves the Chapter 28E Agreement by and between the City of
Waukee,Iowa;Xenia Rural Water District;and the Board of the Water Works
Trustees of the City of Des Moines,Iowa;and the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 4"day of February,2019.
