RESOLUTION 19-024
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE TKLBY LANK FROM
SE L.A.GRANT PARKWAY WEST TO SE GREKNTREE DRIVE ON
SUNDAY,APRIL 21,2019,BETWEEN THK HOURS OF 6:00 A.M.AND 7:15 A.M.
[WAUKEE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee United Methodist Church requests the temporary closing of SE Telby
Lane from SE L.A.Grant Parkway west to SE Greentree Drive on Sunday,April 21,2019,
between the hours of 6:00 a.m.and 7:15 a.m.for the purpose of Easter Sunrise Services;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa tJ364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
21"day of January,2019,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Telby Lane from
SE L.A.Grant Parkway west to SE Greentree Drive on Sunday,April 21,2019,between the
hours of 6:00 a.m,and 7:15 a.m.[Waukee United Methodist Church Easter Sunrise ervice].
