RESOLUTION 19-089
APPROVAL OF THK TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS ON
SATURDAY,APRIL 13,2019 [LIVE HEALTHY IOWA 5K EVENT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF IYA UKEE,IO IYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,event organizers request the temporary closing of SE University Avenue from SE
Waddell Way east to SE L.A.Grant Parkway between the hours of 7:30 a.m.and 9:30 a.m.on
Saturday,April 13,2019,for the purpose of the Live Healthy Iowa 5K Event;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to ti364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council in session this 18'"day
of March,2019,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE University Avenue from SE
Waddell Way east to SE L.A.Orant Parkway between the hours of 7:30 a.m.and 9:30 a.m.on
Saturday,April 13,2019,for the purpose of the Live Healthy Iowa 5K
