RESOLUTION 19-144
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHOIUTY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IO8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on August 28,2017,Waukee,Iowa,entered into contract with OMG Midwest,
d/b/a Des Moines Asphalt 6t Paving of Des Moines,IA,for the construction of the Waukee,
Iowa,North Little Walnut Creek Drive Improvement Project,within the City,as therein
described;AND
WHEREAS,the contractor has fully completed the construction of the improvements which
were undertaken as an assessment project,known as the Waukee,Iowa,North Little Walnut
Creek Drive Improvement Project,in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract
and plans and specifications,as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the City Clerk
on April I,2019:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THK CITY OF
WAUKEE,IOWA:
Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted and the improvements are hereby accepted as having been fully completed in
accordance with the plans,specifications and contract.The total contract cost of the
improvements payable under said contract is hereby determined to be $660,391.80.
Section 2.The total project cost including construction,engineering,legal and
administrative costs is determined to be $746,447.92.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the 15'"day of April,
2019.
