APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE WOODCREEK DRIVE FROM 605
SE WOODCREEK DRIVE TO SK PARKVIEW CROSSINC DRIVE ON SATURDAY,
JUNK 1,2019,BETWEEN THK HOURS OF 3:00 P.M.AND 11:30P.M.FOR THK
PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,resident Brian Willham requests the temporary closing of SE Woodcreek Drive
from 605 SE Woodcreek Drive to SE Parkview Crossing Drive on Saturday,June 1,2019,
between the hours of 3:00 p.m.and 11:30p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;
AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa tJ364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
20'"day of May,2019,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Woodcreek Drive
from 605 SE Woodcreek Drive to SE Parkview Crossing Drive on Saturda,June 1,2019,
between the hours of 3;00 p.m.and 1 1:30 p.m.for the purpo neigh hood block party.
