RESOLUTION 19-180
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS FOR
THK CELEBRATE WAUKKE FESTIVAL
INTHENAMEANDIJYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Festivals Committee requests the following temporary closures of
specific public streets for activities associated with the Celebrate Waukee Festival:
~Pancake Breakfast:Ashworth Drive from 6'"Street north and west 150 feet beginning
6:00 a.m.and ending 12:00 p.m.on Saturday,June I,2019;
~Festival Activities:Walnut Street from 5'"Street west to 6rE Street beginning 6:00 a.m.
and ending 12:00 p.m.on Saturday,June I,2019;

and S.Warrior Lane from SE University Avenue north to SE Park Road beginning 8:30
p.m.and ending 10:30 p.m.on Saturday,June I,2019;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to )364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution;
