RESOLUTION 19-234
APPROVING EASEMENTS RELATED TO JAMES POINTE
[RACCOON RIVER VALLEY TRAIL]
IN THE NAMEAND BY THEAUTHORITYOF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has previously approved a preliminary plat for James Pointe which
includes property adjacent to the Raccoon River Valley Trail owned by Dallas County;AND,
WHEREAS,as a part of development of the plat,certain easements are necessary related to
improvements and grading on the Raccoon River Valley Trail property;AND,
WHEREAS,Dallas County Board of Supervisors have agreed to provide the following easements for
the completion of improvements associated with James Pointe:
1.Public Use and Facilities Easement;
2.Public Utility Easement.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on this
17"'day of June,2019,that the easements related to James Pointe across the Raccoon River Valley
Trail are hereby accepted and approved by the City Council of the City of Wauke .
