RESOLUTION 19-228
APPROVING THK TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NK ADDISON DRIVE FROM
NE DKLLWOOD DRIVE NORTH TO NK DOUGLAS PARKWAY ON SATURDAY,
JUNE 22,2019,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:30 P.M.AND S:30 P.M.FOR THK
PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,resident Aldijana Davis requests the temporary closing of certain public streets for
the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa (j364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
17"day of June,2019,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of NE Addison Drive from
NE Dellwood Drive north to NE Douglas Parkway on Saturday,June 22,2019,between the
hours of 4:30 p.m.and 8:30 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
