RESOLUTION 13-194
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.1 TO AN AGREEMENT WITH RDG PLANNING
AND DESIGN RELATED TO THE RACCOON RIVER V ALLEY TRAILHEAD
PUBLIC ART PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on April 1,2013,the Waukee City Council approved an agreement with RDG
Planning and Design related to the installation of a public art piece at the Raccoon River Valley
Trailhead in Waukee (Resolution #13-078);AND,
WHEREAS,as stipulated in the agreement,the first phase of fundraising toward the project is
complete and an amendment to the agreement must be approved by the City Council in order to
proceed with the second phase;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that
Amendment No.1 to an agreement with RDG Planning and Design related to the Raccoon River
Valley Trailhead Public Art Project is hereby approved on the condition of receipt by the City of
the $10,000 limn the non-profit entity leading the project.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the nnd day of July,
2013.
