RESOLUTION 13-202
APPROVING PAYMENT FOR CROP DAMAGE DURING CONSTRUCTION OF
THE LITTLE WALNUT CREEK REGIONAL LIFT STATION PROJECT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,250,00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on January 7,2013,the City Council approved awarding contract for the Little
Walnut Creek Regional Lift Station Project (13-002);AND,
WHEREAS,during project construction,2.50 acres of crop owned by Tim Broderick was
damaged,estimated at $1,300.00 per acre based on a com price of approximately $7.00 per
bushel and a yield of approximately 185 bushels per acre;AND,
WHEREAS,the project engineer recommends payment of$3,250.00 to Tim Broderick for
those crop damages;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 5th day of August,2013,that the payment for crop damage during construction of the
Little Walnut Creek Regional Lift Station Proj ect in the amount of $3,250.00 is hereby
approved.
