RESOLUTION 13-199
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE PARKER DRIVE FROM 505 SE
PARKER DRIVE TO 525 SE PARKER DRIVE ON FRIDAY,AUGUST 23,2013,BETWEEN
THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M.AND 9:00 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD
BLOCK PARTY [DUSTIN PETTY]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Dustin Petty of 525 SE Parker Dr.requests the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive
from 505 SE Parker Drive to 525 SE Parker Drive on Friday,August 23,2013,between the hours of
4:00 p.m.and 9:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pnrsuant to §364.l2(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 5th day
of August,2013,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive from 505 SE Parker
Drive to 525 SE Parker Drive on Friday,August 23,2013,between the hours of 4:00 p.m.and 9:00
p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
