RESOLUTION 13-225
APPROVING JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CITY PLANNER II
[DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,in order to improve workflow and processes for the Development Services
Department,City staff believes it is in the best interest ofthe City to add the position of City
Planner II;AND,
WHEREAS,the Director of Finance has determined there is capacity to fund the position within
the current fiscal year budget;AND,
WHEREAS,the Director of Development Services and Human Resources Director have
examined the duties to be fulfilled by this position,created a job description,and recommend
approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 3'd day of September,2013,that it hereby approves the City Planner II position andjob
description.
