RESOLUTION 13-224
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE WESTGATE DRIVE BETWEEN SE
LAUREL STREET AND SE WINDFIELD DRIVE ON FRIDAY,SEPTEMBER 19,2013,
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:00 P.M.AND 10:00 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY [BRIDGIT KELLER]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Bridgit Keller of 105 SE Westgate Drive requests the temporary closing of SE Westgate
Drive between SE Laurel Street and SE Windfield Drive on Friday,September 19,2013,between the
hours of 6:00 p.m.and 10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party [Bridgit Keller];
AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds maybe temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 3'd day
of September,2013,that it hereby approves the temp mary closing ofSE Westgate Drive between SE
Laurel Street and SE Windfield Drive on Friday,September 19,2013,between the hours of 6:00 p.m.
and 10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party [Bridgit Keller].
