RESOLUTION 13-220
AMENDING THE CERTIFICATION OF REIMBURSABLE DEBT IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE EAST PARK DEVELOPMENT,LLC:WESTGATE BUSINESS PARK TAX
FINANCING AGREEMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly orgauized Muuicipal
Orgauization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee and East Park Development,LLC entered into a Development
Agreement,East Park Development,LLC:Westgate Business Park on the 6th day of November,
2000 which provided for the reimbursement of expenses associated with the development of the
property known as Westgate Business Park;AND
WHEREAS,pursuant to Resolution No.02-86,the City of Waukee approved the certification of
reimbursable debt in accordance with the East Park Development,LLC:Westgate Business Park
Agreement in the amount of $1,542,604.41 as eligible expenses for reimbursement through said
Agreement;AND
WHEREAS,the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,Iowa approved additional eligible expense
pursuant to said Agreement,by Council action in 2003,in the amount of$149,000.00 agreeing to
amend its prior certification of expenses but has not yet taken such action;AND
WHEREAS,the prior certification needs to be amended accordingly.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,
that Resolution No.02-86 should be and the same is hereby amended to certify as additional
eligible expense and reimbursable debt in accordance with the East Park Development,LLC:
Westgate Business Park Development Agreement an additional $149,000.00,for a total of
$1,691,604.41.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the 19[h day of
August,2013.
