RESOLUTION 13-278
RESCHEDULING BEGGAR'S NIGHT 2013 TO THURSDAY,OCTOBER 31 FROM
6:00 P.M.TO 8:00 P.M.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas COlUIty,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on September 25,2006,the City Council approved a resolution setting October 30
between the hours of 6:00 p.m.and 8:00 p.m.as the perpetual date and time for Waukee Beggar's
Night,unless otherwise determined by the City Council for special circumstances (Resolution #06-
192);AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Community School District requests that Beggar's Night 2013 be
rescheduled to October 31 in light of a football playoff game held at Waukee Stadium on October 30,
2013.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 23'd
day of October,2013,that Beggar's Night 2013 is herehy rescheduled to Thursday,October 31 from
6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m ..
