RESOLUTION 13-251
APPROVING CONTRIBUTION TO THE WAUKEE AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR
THE WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY ORI MUSEUM DISPLAY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Area Historical Society requests a $3,500.00 contribution from the City to
be used toward building an historical display in the museum portion of the Waukee Public Library Ori
Addition;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Area Historical Society will contribute an additional $1,500.00 toward the
project,totaling $5,000.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the funds remaining within the contingency budget for the Ori Library Addition project
is planned for use to purchase furniture and fixtures for the project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 7'h day
of October,2013,that it hereby approves a one-time contribution of$3,500.00 to the Waukee Area
Historical Society for the Waukee Public Library Ori Museum display,contingent upon a $1,500.00
contribution by the Waukee Area Historical Society for the same project.
