RESOLUTION 13-253
APPROVING CONTRACT WITH BRIMEYER FURSMAN,LLC ,FOR
CHIEF OF POLICE EXECUTIVE SEARCH SERVICES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State oflowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,after thirty-four years of honorable services to the City of Waukee,Larry J.Phillips will
retire from his position as Chief of Police effective March 15,2014;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends the retainage of a search film to assist the City in the search for a
Chief of Police;AND,
WHEREAS,after interviewing three films,City staff recommends approving a contract with
Brimeyer Fursman,LLC,of Maplewood,MN,for Waukee Chief of Police executive search services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 7'11 day
of October,2013,that it hereby approves contract with Brimeyer Fursman,LLC,for Chief of Police
executive search services.
