RESOLUTION 13-311
APPROVING THE REDUCTION OF FEES FOR GAS METERS FOR CONNECTIONS
TO THE CITY GAS UTILITY IN THE CITY OF WAUKEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization with a Municipal Natural Gas Utility;AND,
WHEREAS,the City provides gas meters for property obtaining gas service from the City of
Waukee Gas Utility;AND,
WHEREAS,Resolution #11-115 established the charge for Gas Meters provided by the City for
new construction and the City staff has recommended that the charge for Gas Meters be reduced
so as to provide the meters at no charge effective January 1,2014;AND,
WHEREAS,after considering the recommendation of City staff,the City Council of the City of
Waukee believes that providing gas meters at no charge to those obtaining service from the City
Gas Utility is in the best interest ofthe City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 181h day of November,2013,that gas meters be provided at no charge for properties
obtaining gas service from the City of Waukee Gas Utilit effective January 1,2014.
