RESOLUTION 14-001
RECOGNIZING THE SERVICE OF DAN DUTCHER WHILE COUNCIL MEMBER
FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Dan Dutcher served as a Waukee City Council Member from January 1,2010,to
April 2,2013;AND,
WHEREAS,while serving on the City Council,Dan was the council liaison to boards focused
on building and development,comprehensive planning,zoning,utilities and wastewater;AND,
WHEREAS,Dan also served as Mayor Pro Tern in 2011;AND,
WHEREAS,his experience in commercial Teal estate and development has proven invaluable
during planning and successful federal funding efforts fOT the Alice's Road/lOSth Street
Interchange and Alice's Road Corridor;AJ"'iD,
WHEREAS,Dan's willingness to serve his community on the Waukee City Council and his
commitment to the betterment of Waukee for all its residents is an outstanding example of public
service,
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved by the City of Waukee Mayor and City Council in session
this 6th day of January,2014,that it hereby approves the expression of appreciation to Dan
Dutcher for his past service on the Waukee City Council.
