RESOLUTION 14-008
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF CITY ATTORNEY FOR
THE YEAR 2014
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council must appoint the position of City Attorney
annually;AND,
WHEREAS,the law firm of Bl-ick,Gentry,Bowers,Swartz &Levis,P.C.,hereinafter
known as Brick Gentry Law Film,was first appointed as City Attorney by the City
Council on June 6,2005 (Resolution #05-90);AND,
WHEREAS,the Brick Gentry Law Finn has proven to be an excellent partner with and
resource for the City of Waukee in all necessary aspects of the legal system;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa on
this 6th day ofJanuary,2014,does hereby approve the appointment of Brick Gentry Law
Film as City Attorney for the Year 2014.
