RESOLUTION 13-330
APPROVING AN IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FEDERAL AID
AGREEMENT FOR A TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM (TE)
PROJECT [SUGAR CREEK TRAIL BRIDGE PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City received a $90,000 grant award through the Des Moines Area
Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Sugar Creek Trail Bridge Project;AND,
WHEREAS,the Iowa Department of Transportation has provided a Federal Aid Agreement for
a Transportation Enhancement Program (TE)Project that outlines the requirements the City must
fulfill in order to be eligible for federal funding for the Sugar Creek Trail Bridge Project;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney has reviewed the agreement and finds it satisfactory.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Iowa Department of Transportation Federal Aid Agreement for a Transportation Enhancement
Program (TE)Project [Sugar Creek Trail Bridge Project]is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 16th day of
December,2013.
