RESOLUTION 14-052
APPROVING THE PROPOSED FY2015 BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State ofIowa AND,
WHEREAS,the State ofIowa has set March 15 as the date cities must submit a certified
budget to their respective county auditors AND,
WHEREAS,all City departments have worked hard to create the FY2015 budget in
accordance with the City Council goals and priorities,and to maintain the $13.50 tax rate
for the Waukee citizens,for the fifteenth year in a row AND,
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held March 3,2014,during the regularly scheduled
council meeting to seek and to receive citizen input concerning the proposed FY2015
budget AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the proposed FY2015 budget and after
receiving citizen input on the same finds the FY20 15 budget fiscally responsible and
responsive to the needs of the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 3rd day of March,2014,that it hereby approves the proposed F 2015
Budget.
