RESOLUTION 14-063
APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEMENT
BETWEEN GOVDEALS AND THE CITY OF WAUKEE FOR A COOPERATIVE
AWARD AGGREGATE PROGRAM
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council shall approve operating policies and procedures;
AND,
WHEREAS,GovDeals is an entity which provides services to governmental organizations to
facilitate the sale or purchase of snrplus or confiscated items via the internet;AND,
WHEREAS,in conjunction with the recently approved City of Waukee Financial Policy-
Surplus Asset Disposal Policy,of the Standard Administrative Policy and Procedures Manual
(Resolution #14-062),City staff has presented the City Council with a GovDeals
Memorandum of Understanding (Option B4)and State ofIowa Volume Discount Program
Agreement and recommends approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 3rd day of March,2014,that the memorandum of understanding (Option B4)and
agreement between GovDeals and the City of Waukee for a Cooperative Award Aggregate
Program is hereby approved.~
