RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAU1<EE,
STATE OF IOWA:
Section I,That the following bid for the construction of certain public improvements
described in general as Traffic Signalization/Trail -SE Alices Road (HDP-8l77(6l7)--7l-25)SE
Ashworth Road to SE University Avenue,Waukee,Iowa,described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council on April 7,2014,be and is hereby accepted,the
same being the lowest responsible bid received for such work,as follows:
Contractor:Howrey Constmction,Inc.,of Rockwell City,IA
Amount of bid:--C$~1,-",3,-,,9:.::8'l"7-,-7,--2,-"7"-0 _
Portion of proj ect:All constmction work
Section 2.That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute the contract with the
contractor for the construction ofthe public improvements,such contract not to be binding on the
City until approved by this Council.
