RESOLUTION 14-118
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE WOOD CREEK DRIVE BETWEEN
SE PRAIRIE PARK LANE AND SE P ARKVIEW CROSSING DRIVE ON SATURDAY,JUNE
7,2014,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 3:30 P.M.AND 9:00 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Liz Wi1lham,665 SE Woodcreek Drive,requests the temporary closing of SE
Woodcreek Drive between SE Prairie Park Lane and SE Parkview Crossing Drive on Saturday,June 7,
2014,between the hours of 3:30 p.m.and 9:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;
AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 19th
day of May,2014,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Woodcreek Drive between SE
Prairie Park Lane and SE Parkview Crossing Drive on Saturday,June 7,2014,between the hours of
3:30 p.m.and 9:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block part .
