RESOLUTION 14-133
APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR WAUKEE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL #8 PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee Community School District (the "Developer")has requested final
approval of Waukee Elementary School #8 Plat 1 (the "Plat");AND
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of
the Plat on April 22,2014;AND,
WHEREAS,the Final Plat for Waukee Elementary School #8 Plat 1 and the documents relating
thereto comply in all respects with Section §303 -Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee
Municipal Code;AND,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
on this 19th day of May,2014,that the Final Plat for Waukee Elementary School #8 Plat 1 be and
the same is hereby accepted and approved by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee subject to
final review and approval of the legal documents by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Waukee does hereby accept the following
additional easements and documents to be filed with the Plat:
1.Public Utility Easement;
2.Sanitary Sewer Easement;
3.Detention Easement;
4.Temporary Sediment Basin and Permanent Detention Easement;
5.Agreement to Complete Public Improvements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file the
final plat of Waukee Elementary School #8 Plat 1,as well as any other do ments related
thereto,with the Dallas County Recorder.
