HomeMy WebLinkAbout2014-06-02-Resolutions 14-139_Prairie Crossing P1 Lot 1 - Easement VacationTHE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA RESOLUTION 14-139 APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A SANITARY SEWER AND STORM SEWER ACROSS LOT 1 OF PRAIRIE CROSSING PLAT 1 IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal Organization;AND, WHEREAS,a Sanitary Sewer and Storm Sewer Easement ("Easement")was approved as a part of the final plat for Prairie Crossing Plat I and recorded in Book 2013 Page 20150 within Dallas County,Iowa to allow for the construction of sanitary and storm sewer utilities across Lot 1 of Prairie Crossing Plat 1;AND, WHEREAS,no utilities were constructed within a portion of the existing Easement;AND, WHEREAS,the property owner has requested that the portion of the easement as described on attached Exhibit A be vacated. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 2nd day of June,2014,that it hereby approves the vacation of a portion of the Sanitary Sewer and Storm Sewer Easement across Lot 1 of Prairie Crossing Plat 1.
