RESOLUTION 14-165
APPROVING TECHNICAL SERVICES SPECIALIST
JOB DESCRIPTION AND SALARY RANGE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,in response to the increased demand for information management in the
Community and Economic Development Department,City staff recommends the addition of the
position of Technical Services Specialist;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff also recommend the position be a Grade 9 on the non-union
compensation plan with a range for FY2014-15 of$20.68/hour to $28.86/hour;AND,
WHEREAS,the department directors for Community and Economic Development and Human
Resources have examined the duties to be fulfilled by this position,created a job description,and
recommend approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 16th day of June,2014,that it hereby approves the Technical Services Specialist position,job
description and salary range.
