RESOLUTION 14-163
APPROVAL OF THE KETTLESTONE DESIGN BOOK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,on July 22,2013,the Waukee City Council approved retaining the services of
Confluence of Des Moines,IA,as the planning firm for the Alice's Road Corridor Project
(Resolution #13-197);AND,
WHEREAS,the work performed by Confluence included further planning and study beyond the
2011 Alice's Road Corridor Master Plan;AND,
WHEREAS,the Alice's Road Corridor has subsequently been renamed Kettlestone;AND,
WHEREAS,on June 10,2014,the City of Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission reviewed
the completed Kettlestone Design Book and recommended it be adopted by the Waukee City
Council as an amendment to the 2008 Waukee Comprehensive Plan;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa,in session
this 16th day of June 2014,does hereby adopt the Kettlestone Design Book.
