RESOLUTION 14-155
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SNYDER STREET FROM AIDAN STREET
TO EMERSON LANE ON FRIDAY,JULY 4,2014,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12:30 P.M.
P.M.AND 11:03 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Brian Hughes,90 Aidan Street,requests the temporary closing of Snyder Street from
Aidan Street to Emerson Lane on Friday,July 4,2014,between the hours of 12:30 p.m.p.m.and 11 :03
p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code ofIowa §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily
closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 16th
day of June,2014,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Snyder Street from Aidan Street to
Emerson Lane on Friday,July 4,2014,between the hours of 12:30 p.m.p.m.and 11 :03 p.m.for the
purpose of a neighborhood block party.
