RESOLUTION 14-196
AMENDING COMPENSATION PLAN FOR NON-REPRESENTED CITY
EMPLOYEES FOR FY2015
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA USE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,on March 17,2014,the City Council approved the FY201S Compensation Plan
and Wage Rate for City employees whose positions are not represented by the City of Waukee
Collective Bargaining Unit (Resolution ¹14-079);AND,
WHEREAS,the City was not utilizing the rank of Fire Lieutenant at the time the Compensation
Plan was approved,but has now determined the need for the position of 24 hour Fire Lieutenant
with a wage scale separate from the FT2015 Compensation Plan.
WHEREAS,City staff recommends approval of the following wage scale for the rank of Fire
Lieutenant:
Level 1 Level 1.5 Level 2 Level 2.5 Level 3 Level 3.5 Level 4 Level 4.5 Level 5
$20.81 $21.43 $21.99 $22.67 $23.29 $23.70 $24.11 $24.53 $25.69
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
4'"day of August,2014,that the wage scale for Fire Lieutenant is hereby approved.
