RESOLUTION 14-212
APPROVING TEMPORARY ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR THK
INTERIM LIBRARY DIRECTOR
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA USE,IOWA
WHEREAS,effective August 12,2014,Jacob Speer will no longer be the Waukee Public
Library Director;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees has appointed Youth Services
Librarian Keri Weston-Stoll to act as Interim Library Director,in addition to her regular duties,
until such time as a permanent Library Director is appointed;AND,
WHEREAS,it is the desire of the Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees and the Waukee
City Council to provide additional compensation related to the employee's performance of those
additional duties for the period during which she continues to act as Interim Library Director.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this4"day of August,2014,that Keri Weston-Stoll be temporarily compensated,in addition to the
salary established for her duties as Youth Services Librarian,$1,500 per month,for the period
commencing on August 12,2014,and continuing for the period she serves as Interim Library
Director.
