APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SK MEADOWLARK LANK BETWEEN SK
MKLROSK DRIVE AND SK MARSHALL DRIVE BETWEEN THK HOURS OF 6:00 P.M.ON
SATURDAY,AUGUST 16,2014,AND 12:00 A.M.ON SUNDAY,AUGUST 17,2014,FOR THK
PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHOIUTY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Noelle Mann,575 SE Meadowlark Ln.,requests the temporary closing of SE
Meadowlark Lane between SE Melrose Drive and SE Marshall Drive between the hours of 6:00 p.m.
on Saturday,August 16,2014,and 12:00 a.m.on Sunday,August 17,2014,for the purpose of a
neighborhood block pasty;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa $364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily
closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 4'"day
of August,2014,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Meadowlark Lane between SE
Melrose Drive and SE Marshall Drive between the hours of 6:00 p.m.on Saturday,August 16,2014,
and 12:00 a.m.on Sunday,August 17,2014,for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
