RESOLUTION 14-222
AUTHORIZING THK DELIVERY OF A NOTICE OF INTENT TO PURCHASE
IN THE NAME AND BI'THE A UTHOMTY OF THE CITY OF WA UICEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee entered into a Two-Mile Agreement Xenia Rural Water
dated July 20,1992 and recorded in Book 728 Page 788 at the Dallas County Recorder's
Office;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to the terms of the Agreement the City of Waukee has the option to
purchase property from Xenia in accordance with the terms of the Two-Mile Agreement by
delivering a notice of intent to do so in accordance therewith;AND
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to purchase property in accordance with the Two-
Mile Agreement pursuant to said agreement;
NO%THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that
approval is given to deliver a notice of intent to purchase attached hereto to Xenia Rural
Water.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the 18"day of
August,2014.
