RESOLUTION 14-213
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE PARKER DRIVE BETWEEN 505 SK
PARKER DRIVE TO 525 SK PARKER DRIVE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:30 P.M.AND
8:30 P.M.ON FRIDAY,AUGUST 22,2014,FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA USE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Dustin Petty,525 SE Parker Dr.,requests the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive
between 505 SE Parker Drive to 525 SE Parker Drive between the hours of 4:30 p.m.and 8:30 p.m.on
Friday,August 22,2014,for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND&
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa $364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily
closed by resolution.
thNOWTHEREFOREBKITRESOLVEDbytheCityofWaukeeCityCouncilinsessionthis18
day of August,2014,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive between 505
SE Parker Drive to 525 SE Parker Drive between the hours of 4:30 p.m.and 8:30 p.m.on Friday,
August 22,2014,for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
