RESOLUTION MAKING RECOMMENDATION REGARDING
AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,
STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1.That the following bid for the construction of certain public improvements
described in general as 105th Street/Alice's Road 1-80 Interchange,described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council on September 2,2014,is hereby recommended
to be awarded by the Iowa Department of Transportation,the same being the lowest responsive,
responsible bid received for such work,as follows:
Contractor;Peterson Contractors,Inc.,of Reinbeck,IA
Amount of bid:$13,423,922.48
Portion of project:All portions of project
Section 2.That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to notify,in writing,the DOT's
District 4 Local Systems Engineer of the City Council's recommendation.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2"day of September,2014.
