RESOLUTION 14-258
APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF AGRKEMKNT RELATED TO THK
COMPLETION OF A SPECIAL CENSUS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SM USE,IOSM
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State of Iowa AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has experienced a significant population increase since
the census of 2010 AND,
WHEREAS,establishing the exact population will allow Waukee to receive increased
road use funds and also be useful in attracting new development and grant funding AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the provided information agrees that it is in
the best interests of the City of Waukee to perform a Special Census.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 15"'day of September,2014 that it hereby approves of the Memorandum of
Agreement related to the completion of a Special Census,
