RESOLUTION 14-281
APPROVING SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEK PROPOSAL WITH PUBLIC
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT FOR FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA USE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,it is in the best interest of the City to utilize a Financial Advisor for the
purpose of reviewing audited financial statements,budgets and debt capacity,review of
existing debt for refunding opportunities,development of CIP and Utility budgeting
models,assist with annual TIF certifications,and plating and assisting with the sale of
bonds,including credit rating presentations,sale details,negotiation and marketing of
bonds,and the required closing procedures;AND,
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council have received an agreement dated September
2014,from Jenny Blankenship on behalf of the Arm of Public Financial Management
related to financial advisory services.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa,in
session tins 20th day of October 2014,does hereby approve the Scope of Services and
Fee Proposal with Public Financial Management for Financial Advisory Ser 'es.
