RESOLUTION 14-306
AUTHORIZING THK FILING OF A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT (CDBG)APPLICATION
IN THENAMEAND BYTHEAUTHOMTYOF THE CITYOF 5'AUEEE,IONIA
VAiXRKAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is eligible to apply for Iowa Comnmnity Development
Block Grant funding under the Water/Sewer portion of the program,AND;
WHEREAS,after holding public hearing on the matter,the Waukee City Council has
decided to submit an application to the CDBG program for the improvement of municipal
sanitary sewer collection service to the Corene Acres subdivisions and the original City
sewer collection system;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa,as follows;
1.The City Council hereby authorizes the filing of a 2014 Cormnunity
Development Block Grant Application for construction of the proposed
sanitary sewer collection system improvement project.
2.The mayor is authorized to sign all paperwork and forms necessary for the
submittal of the grant application.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session tins 3'day of November,2014,that it hereby authorizes the filing of a
Community Development Block Grant (CDB 6)Application.
