RESOLUTION 14-323
APPROVING THK DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH CITY POLICY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8'A UKEE,IOIVA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has adopted a Surplus Asset Disposal Policy (the
"Policy")(Resolution 414-062);AND,
WHERAS,in accordance with the Policy,the Waukee Police Depaitrnent requests
approval by the Waukee City Council to dispose of found property,specifically 32
bicycles,by donating said bicycles to Westwind Cluirch for charitable purposes;AND,
Vr'HKRKAS,the City Council desires to approve the disposal of the surplus property as
requested by the Waukee Police Depaitnient and in accordance with the Policy.
NOW THEREFORE,BK IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa,on this 17'"day of November,2014,that the disposal,in accordance with the
Policy,of the noted surplus property is hereby approved.
