RESOLUTION 15-008
APPROVING MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
JOB DESCRIPTION AND WAGE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a.duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends the position of Marketing and Connnunications Intern in
order to assist the Connnunications Director with the creation and distribution of promotional
materials,presentations,online communications,and other communications created and
distributed by the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed Marketing an.d Communications Intern will work 20 hours per week
starting in late January tlnough August 2015 at a wage of $12.00 per hour;AND,
WHEREAS,the department directors for Communications and Human Resources have
examined the duties to be fulfilled by this position,created a job description,and reconmnend
approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 5"'day of January,2015,that it hereby approves the Marketing and Connnunications Intern
position,job description and wage.
