RESOLUTION 15-006
APPROVING EVENT CONSULTANT PROPOSAL WITH CONTEMPORARY
BUSINESS SOLUTIONS RELATED TO WAUKEE FEST
IN THE NAME AND BY THE 2 UTHOIUTY OF THE CITY OF IVY UICEE,IO8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Leadership Institute is conducting a review of the current
Waukee Fest and is building a framework for future Waukee Fest events in an effort to
improve Waukee Fest,increasing attendance and making it an even more enjoyable
event;AND,
WHEREAS,as part of the Waukee Fest review,there is a need for professional event
plating assistance;AND;
WHEREAS,Contemporary Business Solutions has submitted a proposal for event
plaruung services related to Waukee Fest;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney has reviewed the contract and finds it satisfactory,and
City staff reconunends approval of the proposal and payment for the contract services.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5'h day of January,2015,that it hereby approves the Event Consultant
Proposal with Contemporary Business Solutions related to Waukee Fest.
