RESOLUTION 15-017
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS
OF THE DES MOINES AREA METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION (MPO)AND
PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS FOR THK DKS MOINES AREA MPO
TRANSPORTATION AND TECHNICAL COMMITTEE FOR THK YKAR 2015
IN THE'NAME AND BY THE AUTHOMTY OF THE CITY OF 8AUEEE,IONIA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality witlun Dallas County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee must annually appoint or reappoint representatives to the Des Moines
Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)and the MPO Transportation Teclmical Connnittee
(MPO TTC);AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has two primary representatives and two alternate representatives on
both the MPO and on the MPO TTC;AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2015,Mayor William F.Peard appoints Council Member Casey L.
Harvey and City Administrator Tim Moerman as primary representatives;and Mayor William F.Peard
and Director of Development Services Bradly M.Deets as alternate representatives to the MPO;AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2015,Mayor William F.Peard appoints Director of Development
Services Bradly M.Deets and Senior Planner Andy Kass as primary representatives;and Director of
Public Works Jolm Gibson and Assistant Director of Public Works Tim Royer as alternate representatives
to the MPO TTC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 5'"day of
January,2015,that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to the Metropolitan Planning
Organization and to the Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Teclmical Connnittee.
