RESOLUTION 15-031
APPROVING ADULT SERVICES LIBRARIAN
JOB DESCRIPTION AND SALARY RANGE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHOIUTY OF THE CITY OF kVA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,after reassessment of staffing and community needs,the Waukee Public Library
Director recoimnends the addition of the position of Adult Services Librarian;AND,
WHEREAS,it is also reconunended the position be a Grade 9 on the non-union compensation
plan with a range for FY2014-15 of $43,010-$60,036;AND,
WHEREAS,the department directors for the Waukee Public Library and Human Resources
have examined the duties to be fulfilled by tins position,created a job description,and
reconuuend approval;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees approves this position,job
description and salary range.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 19'"day of January,2015,that it hereby approves the Adult Services Librarian position,job
description and salary range.
